New regulations to FO in 2020

What all measure you will take, not just emission abatement techniques.

Companies have to allocate budget and utilise resources in OPEX (operating expenditure) for tank cleaning. Like manpower time in anchorage

and related safeties.

Low Sulphur fuel risk of pump elements getting seized. Sulphur is indirectly related to lubricity, as the process of removing Sulphur involves extreme temperatures and pressures and the organic compounds which are actually responsible for lubricity gets eliminated. Lubricity additives to be added to fuel.

Then emission abatement techniques like Alkaline scrubber. The effluent to be neutralised before being discharged, else toxic discharge

Ballast water exchange methods and compare all three.

Flow through, dilution and sequential. This answer is very long to be typed. Got help from Jai
